Enjoy the privileged waters of Tenerife in a different way!

Staying on an island may seem to offer limited possibilities, but being surrounded by the spectacular Atlantic Ocean means that the locals feel a sense of freedom. At GF Victoria***** GL we can say that to enjoy these privileged waters of Tenerife, there is much more to experience than simply relaxing on the beach and taking a swim. Tenerife offers a multitude of possibilities, suitable for all pockets and personalities; find your true self with some new adventures.

To begin with, Tenerife offers magnificent cliffs and natural pools. In areas such as Isla Cangrejo or La Jaquita in Guía de Isora, it is possible to enjoy a refreshing swim whilst watching the little ones run around among the pools in search of crabs. However, when choosing a visit to the cliffs of Los Gigantes, it is a “must” to visit the wonders of Cueva del Tacón, in Puerto Santiago. If you are lucky and you arrive when the tide is low, you can take a dip in its crystal-clear waters to help create some wonderful memories.

Many tourists come to Tenerife attracted by its special environmental attributes. The observation of cetaceans in the local waters is a popular activity. This is not surprising, as the Archipelago has excellent conditions for this type of excursion, with up to 29 different species being identified along our coasts.

Similarly, for lovers of marine fauna, it is always possible to hire equipment to go out diving and snorkelling in many places around the island. If you dream of swimming among turtles or want to observe the impressive volcanic landscapes found under the ocean, you should not miss it. Remember that you can always ask advice from our staff at GF Victoria and they will provide you with information about the companies which offer this type of activity.

Sports fans will also find a wealth of activities to interest them. There are many areas where surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing is very prevalent. Images of the beach of El Médano, would not be the same without the colourful kites flying across the landscape. If you dare, the coast of Teno and the Masca ravine, are the places to try your hand at kayaking or to just watch the experts with their impressive formations and rhythmic rowing.

We must not forget that there are possibilities for all tastes. Those who prefer to spend a quiet time can rent a boat to relax to the sound of the waves and, why not, maybe dare to try a little fishing and bathing in the ocean?
