GF Hoteles , explained that the
GF Victoria ***** GL “was born with the gene of sustainability” in its accommodation proposal, implementing innovative solutions that promote the achievement of this objective. At the beginning of the year, during the celebration of
FITUR 2018 in Madrid, the jury had already given its opinion regarding the qualities of the hotel, where it recognised the efficiency in the design of the complex and also of its integral system. This is a building whose energy consumption is carried out 90% through renewable sources and stands out above all for the materials used in the walls and roofs of the building. It has greater thermal insulation and minimal consumption of conventional energies. All these features have made
GF Victoria ***** GL become the first new hotel in the Canary Islands to receive the type A energy certification. An award that, in the words of the general manager of
GF Hoteles , Victoria López, is also “an award dedicated to all workers” for their involvement and willingness to assume the changes implicit in innovative strategies, different processes that adapt to new times and the new sustainable way of managing hotels.
